La Costa del Sol
Entre la sierra y el mar se ubica esta comarca, que es mucho más que sol y playa; pueblos blancos situados entre el litoral y la serranía o recostados sobre suaves laderas y puertos pesqueros y deportivos.
En toda esta franja se mueve un mundo cosmopolita que inunda las soleadas playas, pasea por sus calles y plazas y saborea en chiringuitos playeros, donde puede disfrutar del pescaito frito o los espetos de sardinas.
Partiendo de Málaga se pueden visitar las localidades de Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas y Marbella.

Nuestra club
Club Costa del Sol se fundó en noviembre de 2006 en Mijas como el 6º club en España. El Chárter fue presentado por Elvira Fonseca, Gobernadora de la Unión Portuguesa.
Somos el primer club "Internacional" de la Federación Europea, lo que significa que hablamos ingles en nuestras reuniones en vez del idioma del país. Nuestro club consiste de 26 mujeres de varias nacionalidades, edades y carreras profesionales. Todavía somos un club joven, pero con socias muy motivadas. Creemos que cuando estemos totalmente establecidas aquí en la Costa del Sol, podemos hacer una diferencia.
Nuestras reuniones se realizan cada 2º miércoles del mes en la escuela de hostelería ciomijas en La Cala de Mijas. Después de la reunión cenamos en el restaurante del mismo.
Tenemos lazos de amistad con los clubes de Brixham (Inglaterra), Copenhague Norte (Dinamarca) y Freetown (Sierra Leona)

La vida de un club es una oportunidad de intercambiar ideas y experiencias profesionales, como una apertura a la comunidad local y el mundo exterior y sus problemas. Aparte de nuestras reuniones mensuales, trabajamos juntas en proyectos del club, que son tanto gratificantes como estimulantes.
Al ser una organización mundial podemos ayudar mucho más directo a través de clubes en los países recibientes; todos juntos podemos hacer una diferencia.

· The Costa del Sol
Located between the Sierra and the sea is the Costa del Sol but there is much more than sun, sea and sand; white villages are dotted around the coast, there are mountainous areas, soft hillsides and of course fishing ports and all kinds of sporting activities.
A cosmopolitan world lives on this strip with its' sunny beaches, promenades and squares, savouring the chiringuitos tasty offerings, where one can enjoy fried pescaito or sardine espetos.
A short distance from Malaga one can visit the localities of Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas and Marbella.
· Our club
Club Costa del Sol was founded in 2006 in Mijas and is the 6th club to be found in Spain. The Charter was presented by Elvira Fonseca, Governor of the Portuguese Union.
We are the first "International" club of the European Federation, which means that we speak English in our meetings instead of the language of the country. Our club consists of 26 women of several nationalities, ages and professions. We are still a young club, but with very motivated members. We believe that when we are completely established here on the Costa del Sol, we will make a difference.
Our meetings are every 2nd Wednesday of the month in the CIOMijas Catering and Management School in La Cala de Mijas. After the meeting we have a relaxed and social dinner in the restaurant of the CIOMias.
We have 'friendship bonds' with the clubs of Brixham (England), Copenhagen North (Denmark) and Freetown (Sierra Leone)

The club provides an opportunity to exchange ideas and professional experiences, giving an insight or an open portal to the local community and the exterior world and its problems. Apart from our monthly meetings, we are working together on club projects, which are very gratifying and stimulating.
As a world organisation we can provide a lot more help through our clubs located in various countries and together we can make a difference.
